CARAD (Community Arts Rhayader And District) is an exciting and interesting, independent small arts and heritage charity based in Rhayader. It owns an accredited community museum, gallery and TIC, as well as a community arts and performance space.
Successful candidates will ideally have experience at a strategic level in community arts and / or heritage work in either the public or voluntary sector.
They will have a strong focus on good corporate governance and the ability to support the board and volunteers in our next phase of development.
They should live or work in the area, set time aside to keep closely in touch with CARAD and its activities and attend a minimum of four board meetings a year.
